This group consist of the islet lying immediately to the south of Carriacou, Petite Martinique and Petit St Vincent. Curriacou ,the largest of the Grenadines Island, is traversed by a range of hills. It is volcanic and steep, but a dry island as the hills are not high enough to provoke rain. Carriacou lives from agriculture,stock breeding and fishing. It is a hospitable island with and individual atmosphere and a genuine folklore which has not been exploited for the benefit of tourism.
