Island Caprera
Caprera is the easternmost hilly island of the archipelago. It rise up to 212m in the centre. A number of reefs and islet fringe the island. Most of the island is a nature reserve and is a thoroughly pleasant place to walk around. About history, Garibaldi spent the last years of his life in exile on Caprera after his part in the unification of Italy and his adventures in South America. The house and the tomb lie there.
